ParentingThroughAddiction.com is a membership site offering educational, consultation and support service for parents and families whose lives have been affected by use of drugs or alcohol by their sons and/or daughters. Although Ginny Mills and other Site contributors have counseling credentials in the State of NC, we do not provide counseling, therapy or medical care through this site. North Carolina residents are eligible to access counseling services through Full Life Counseling, PLLC, but no counseling is provided through this Site.

Ginny Mills and Parenting Through Addiction, LLC provide ParentingThroughAddiction.com as a service to its members and the public. Parenting Through Addiction, LLC is recognized by the NC Secretary of State's Office of Corporations, and the Site is intended to be informational and educational only. Because the materials included on the Site are general, they may not apply to an individual’s specific situation. Members and users should independently assess and verify any information obtained from the Site and should not take (or refrain from taking) any action based on the information obtained from these materials or the Site.

Confidentiality & Privacy
ParentingThroughAddiction.com is a membership site for adults who voluntarily elect to receive and share information related to sensitive and personal information. The Site makes every effort to maintain privacy and confidentiality of information received from its members, and all members (paid or unpaid) are required to consent to Terms and Conditions of Use that clearly state expectations that all information obtained and shared shall be considered sensitive, personal and confidential, and respected as such. In addition to requiring members to accept Terms & Conditions of Use at the time of enrollment, the Site resources frequently remind members and users of the importance of maintaining confidentiality of all information. Members have access to information sharing by other members and access to information shared on the discussion forum and the closed social media platform, Facebook. Any member who suspects a violation of the terms and conditions of use, including but not limited to confidentiality violations, should immediately report concerns to Ginny Mills by email to ginny@parentingthroughaddiction.com. Any member who violates the terms and conditions of use will have their membership rights and access terminated immediately and waive their right to any refund of membership fees previously paid.
Despite strong efforts at privacy protection and expectations of confidentiality, communications between ParentingThroughAddiction.com, its members and each other through email, private discussion forums, live web-based education and support group sessions or other communications might be unlawfully intercepted by third parties not under the control of Parenting Through Addiction, PLLC. Accordingly, Ginny Mills nor any of our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the internet or via text message. Any such transmission is done at your own risk. Members who choose to participate in the weekly live, web-based education and support group sessions are advised through this disclaimer and reminders on the Site that the contract for Zoom videoconferencing does not afford HIPAA-compliant protections and thus transmissions could be unlawfully intercepted by third parties not under the control of the Site or its service providers.
Although it would be under very rare circumstances, Ginny Mills and Parenting Through Addiction, LLC may be required to disclose information as required by applicable law as necessary or advisable to: (a) protect Ginny Mills and affiliated corporations rights, safety or property or the rights, safety or property of others; (b) enforce the Terms of Use; (c) respond to your requests for customer service or other information; (d) comply with legal process or cooperate with law enforcement or governmental requests; or (e) comply with or as permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

Users and members are advised that ParentingThroughAddiction.com, Ginny Mills, Full Life Counseling, PLLC and staff are not responsible for the outcome of treatment selections, treatment success or the policies, procedures, methods, actions of any treatment program, including but not limited to financial terms of service. Treatment center directory materials and other information are offered as objective reporting, yet all members and users of this Site are advised to conduct your own independent evaluation of the programs to determine if programs meet your personal, financial, religious, personnel, insurance or other standards. As part of the Terms & Conditions of membership, members agree to hold this Site and this affiliates harmless for the outcome of treatment selections, treatment success or the policies, procedures, methods, financial terms or actions of any treatment program.
Members
Membership status, including cancellation and removal, is determined at the sole discretion of the site owners.
Members can be removed at any time. This can be for not following the Terms and Conditions or for conduct that is against the best interests of the membership or a working relationship with, or for any other reason determined by the site owners.
You agree that any registration information you give to site will always be accurate, correct and up to date. You must not impersonate someone else or provide account information or an email address other than your own. Your account must not be used for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Site, violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
You may use the Site and Service for lawful purposes only. THE FOREGOING APPLIES EVEN IF FULL LIFE COUNSELING PLLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF OR COULD HAVE FORESEEN THE DAMAGES. IN THOSE STATES THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR THE DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST POSSIBLE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. There are no other formal or financial affiliations with any residential, inpatient or outpatient provider of care. Neither this Site nor Parenting Through Addiction, LLC nor Full Life Counseling, PLLC receive any form of compensation, commission, kickback or reward from any treatment provider, nor does this Site or Full Life Counseling, PLLC offer or agree to advertise or market any other treatment program.
ParentingThroughAddiction.com provides a variety of resources to help families select treatment programs and other resources. All information reported on this Site or in materials available to members and/or users of this Site has been collected manually by representatives of the Site through telephone, email and/or in-person interviews with treatment center representatives. This Site and its representatives do not assume responsibility for the accuracy of answers provided by treatment center representatives. We remind all members and users of the Site that treatment programs make changes in their fees, relationships with insurance companies, admission and discharge criteria, services, scope of care and staff routinely, especially if the organization is subject to a merger, acquisition or change in executive leadership. Members and users of this Site are advised to use our materials only as a guide to help begin a process of independent verification through direct dialogue, investigation and evaluation of programs to determine if such programs are a good fit for the member’s family.
INDEMNIFICATION

You acknowledge that Full Life Counseling PLLC offers a full refund within the first 30 days of membership. You can request a refund by using the contact form, which is linked from the member dashboard. After 30 days, no refunds are available, and there is no proration of any unused portion of a month at the time of cancellation.
GOVERNING LAW; VENUE; MEDIATION
These Terms of Service shall be construed in accordance with, and governed by, the laws of the State of North Carolina. The exclusive venue for any arbitration or court proceeding based on or arising out of this Agreement shall be Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement by mediation, which shall be conducted under the then current mediation procedures of The CPR Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution or any other procedure upon which the parties may agree. The parties further agree that their respective good faith participation in mediation is a condition precedent to pursuing any other available legal or equitable remedy, including litigation, arbitration or other dispute resolution procedures.
If any legal action or any arbitration or other proceeding is brought for the enforcement of these Terms, or because of an alleged dispute, breach, default, or misrepresentation in connection with any of the provisions of this Agreement, the successful or prevailing party or parties shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and other costs incurred in that action or proceeding, in addition to any other relief to which it or they may be entitled.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT; WAIVER; HEADINGS
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Full Life Counseling PLLC pertaining to the Site and Service and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings between us. No waiver of any of the provisions of this Agreement by Full Life Counseling PLLC shall be deemed, or shall constitute, a waiver of any other provision, whether or not similar, nor shall any waiver constitute a continuing waiver. No waiver shall be binding unless executed in writing by Full Life Counseling PLLC. The subject headings of these Terms are included for convenience only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of any of its provisions.

Virginia “Ginny” H. Mills is a licensed professional counselor supervisor and licensed clinical addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina. She owns and operates Full Life Counseling, PLLC (dba Full Life Counseling & Recovery), and she shares ownership of ParentingThroughAddiction.com with her husband, John Mills. Parenting Through Addiction, LLC is recognized by the NC Secretary of State’s Corporations Division. Full Life Counseling & Recovery maintains two brick-and-mortar offices with the main office located at 983 Mar Don Dr. in Winston-Salem, NC and a satellite office located at 8801 Fast Park Dr. in Raleigh, NC.
Much of Ginny’s professional experience that informs her practice and the content developed for the Site was acquired through her work as Clinical Director at Full Life, as well as her past experience as Chief Clinical Officer for the Partnership for a Drug-Free NC, as Program Manager for a residential addiction treatment program operated by Wake Forest University Baptist Behavioral Health, and through her service on the NC Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board. Ginny is a graduate of Wake Forest University’s undergraduate college and graduate school, and she holds a masters degree in Community Counseling. She has 25+ years of direct counseling and leadership experience in the fields of addiction and behavioral health. She and her husband are also parents of one daughter in recovery and one daughter who does not appear to have the disease of addiction. Ginny and John have enjoyed 25+ years of happy marriage and value their experiences as partners, parents and professionals collaborating with others who are Parenting Through Addiction Towards Recovery.
